"Let me start with a few highlights: Compact enough to go in very tight places such as steering, transmission, brakes. Powerful to do anything on cars boats and trailers. Smooth operation, clean execution. This is my 9th impact, but I was so impressed with it that went back and got two more. Impressive gun, Kudos Klutch. Out of my array of impacts, this is pretty much the only one I use now (Except when need to get 1000ft/lb rusted lugnut off)"

"I purchased this thing at the time because, frankly, it was what I could afford. Luckily, that decision has never bitten me. This thing has been terrific for the two years I've owned it. I do hobby work on my car in the garage, and it's had enough torque to start or remove pretty much anything I've tried to tackle, including axle nuts! And it does so while being smaller than many 3/8"-drive wrenches!
The only complaint that could be lodged against it is that it could be quieter, but at this price level that's not enough to dock it a star.
I'd definitely recommend this thing."

"I work on fracturing trailers for a living, been using this impact for about a month now. And so far I am very satisfied with this impact, I let one of my co-workers use it and he ended up buying one for his own use.
Very lightweight, the compact size definitely comes in handy. A lot more powerful than expected. I think I will purchase a second one for home use once I get an air compressor. Just a couple of drops of oil in this thing and it shouldn't steer you wrong."

"I have been looking for an impact wrench that has torque settings in forward and reverse, and you can't see or find it anywhere on here but this one has three torque settings in both forward and reverse. So this was a definite huge and excellent surprise. Also this wrench has a full adjustable trigger. I have a $500 matco half inch impact wrench with a tease trigger but its only a tease thru half of the trigger pull. This klutch impact wrench steadily increases speed and torque until the trigger is pulled completely. It's smaller than I thought it would be which is good. I'm hoping this.becomes my main goto wrench because its easy and a very predictable impact wrench. Six different torque settings total, easy to use, easy to hold, easy on the hand, strong for its size, predictable, and jet black, I give it five stars for now will have to wait to see what longevity it has. My matco is a good bit bigger and definitely has a significant amount more power but this one seems so far to have enough for most of what I need."

"I just received my new compact Klutch impact wrench. I bought it because it seemed like a good compromise between package size and torque output. I have 1/2 impact sockets already that I use on a Milwaukee electric impact, so this tool's 1/2 drive size was attractive. However the Milwaukee is quite large and it is difficult to use it on suspension work so I wanted a very small but powerful wrench.
Yesterday, I installed a trailer hitch on a 12 year old Nissan this weekend. It removed the 14mm nuts that held the tie down points easily. Today, I removed rusted-on lug nuts on the '64 F100 that I just bought. The truck has been sitting outside for 10-12 years without hub caps. The wrench took 2-3 seconds or so to remove each nut, but it did it. I'm using a Porter Cable pancake air compressor, so I don't have a lot of air capacity (so I have to keep the wrenches duty cycle to a minimum). I recommend hearing protection because both that compressor and the wrench are a loud combination.
The wrench is the size of a 3/8 air wrench, but has 1/2 drive. I figure that I can always purchase an Ingersoll 231C or Titanium if I need more torque. But right now I think I have enough wrench given my experience this weekend."

"just got it 3 days a go and i have to say it is a good tool did brakes the day i got it and it works like a camp and for the time being i have it on a IR 4 gal dubbole stack and still spun lugs rite off"

"Like many of the reviews here i have nothing but good things to say about this tool. I've also used it to remove stubborn rusted, beaten on axle nuts. and while it did take a little WD-40 i have no complaints, especially considering how beat the nut was by the time i had actually gotten the wheel bearing changed out! this tool should definitely have a home in any mechanics tool box."

"This Klutch compact 1/2" gun is great for getting into small spaces. Have used it several times to break loose crankshaft bolts on Subarus and Toyota trucks without having to pull the radiator. Works good for loosening caliper bracket bolts without having to turn the wheels too. You have to keep in mind that since it is shorter than a standard gun that it doesn't have overpowering torque, and the front seal tends to seep a little bit, but overall it is a great value and an indispensable tool for those tight spaces you constantly run into on new cars. Would definitely recommend!"

"I really didn't expect much from this wrench when I ordered it and was down right disappointed when I opened the box, It was so small and compact I couldn't believe it would have any real torque!
I was pleasantly surprised when I put a socket on it and saw how it just effortlessly removed the lug nuts from a 3/4 truck, no hammer just vrooooom and they're off.
This wrench is the most popular tool in my shop, every one wants to use it, compact, light, powerful!"

"Every since I recieved my sub compact Springfield Armor XD 40 cal. firearm I have turn to liken big power in compact form. Well Klutch is the Springfield Armour of air tools. I took it to work and every body wanted to see if the little dynamo could handle the load, I took off a military vehicles lug nuts zip, zip the two pension old guy smiled, the other guy asked to see my Northern tools catalog, I heard another co worker say, took em off with no problem. Every now and then I like free rev it up, sound like a 1,300 horse power Formula 1 reven it's engine. I rev'd it one time a co worker responded' YES SIR" Big power to do the job, it conceal stores in my tool cart very nicely, IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, YOU ARE WRONG. GET RIGHT, GET ONE. The price is a no brainer. I really like the hook hanger on top, I keep it right in reach on the vehicle I am working on. I get in tight places with full power. There is only one place on a M1A1 Tank this little Dyna mo can not get the nuts loose, that is because they are at over 400 foot pounds of torque, it can handle every place else on that killer machine.Get One."

No torque

"Bought this on sale based on the reviews here and didn't get the chance to use it for a while. I've used this three times total. The first two times it wouldn't loosen the lug nuts on my tires so I used my trusty ol lug wrench. The third time it wouldn't loosen my lugs I broke out my torque wrench to see how tight my lugs were. After loosening and tightening my lugs to 120 ft-lbs this wrench still wouldn't loosen them. My newly purchased kawasaki 12V DC impact wrench has no problems loosening or tightening any of my lugs. It actually works better than this one hooked up to my air compressor. My air compressor has 4.9 CFM at 90 psi too. The manufacturer of this unit is based out of Taiwan so there is no way to contact them to see if any adjustments can be made with it."

Strong impact in little package

"I just want to say this is a very strong impact for the
money and very compact to.This impact got
my approval when it kicked that axle nut out
on my ford F150 it had to grut a little bit but
it done it.and that alone showed it had good torque
I would recommend this impact any day .
some people on this forum did not like the torque.
at first i didnt till i pushed the socket up on
the nut or bolt with some force then it showed how strong it was .Its how you apply the torque to the fastener.Thanks Northern for this wrench."

"I purchased this based on the recomendations of others here. While I like the size and weight, it doesn't have the power I expected. It will not remove the wheel lugs on my F250. This is the only negative I have. Its balance, size and weight makes it my go-to impact all the time. I never use my other one."
