"I bought this pump as a replacement for my Mighty Murc Wood Splitter. Pump fit perfectly and worked with no problems. Although I probably could have gone up to the 13 gpm pump, this one performs very well."

"I bought this pump to convert my splitter from tractor controlled to self controlled. I was a little concerned about it having enough power to bust through those real knotty logs, but it does great. The pump is a two stage pump, so when you hit a tough log it pushes right through. This is a great pump for the price."

"I bought this pump for a log splitter I was making for a school project. I really didn't want to spend the extra money but went for the 2-stage pump and I am really glad I did!! The second stage kicks in and out automatically and increases your splitting power by a ton!"

"Attached to a 6.5HP B&S motor and a Speeco splitter with a 4x20 cylinder. No problems slitting anything I have asked it to split. No problems with pump. recommend it for anyone"

Pump bolts right in to a 30 year old splitter,

"My father bought this log splitter from Northern about 30 years ago. The high pressure side of the pump finally went, possibly because it was starved for oil. I was a bit concerned that the replacement had a different mounting pattern after 30 years. It went right on. I just needed 1/2 a coupler as the shaft was 1/16" different. No problem.
The splitter now works like new.

"I currently split firewood part time for customers and since changing to the haldex 11GPM 2-stage pump i have more than halved splitting time. No stress on a 5.5hp honda motor and still puts out over 20 ton force.This item is a must have."

"Considering I could not get a 11GPM pump in Australia for anything less than $1000 I was very pleased to be refered to Northern Tool & Equipment web page by my American friend & found the very pump I was after to which I eagerly purchased & have now put it to use on my log splitter that has saved a lot of sweat and hard work splitting hardwood timber. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending doing business with this company as there service is very promt along with the communication, hope to do more business with you people again in the near future."

"I used the Haldex pump to replace one I had on my wood splitter, Lil' Marcel. I must say the splitter worked like new again! The Haldex pump mounted in the same bracket as the old pump and all the fittings fit with no outlandish modifications. I was so pleased, I split about 2 cords of wood before I realized I needed to stop! I would recommend the Haldex pump to anyone looking to replace their old pump and breathe new life into thier splitter."

"I recently purchased a 11 gallon a minute ,2-stage hydraulic pump from this company and I am very pleased with it. I had purchased a new b&s engine with pump coupling also and mounted it on my wood splitter. With the new pump and engine it has cut my wood splitting time by a third."

"Works very well w/6.5HP Honda engine on homemade log splitter.
Would have given it 5 starts if it had a NPT port on suction instead of hose barb. Was forced to used hose with hose clamps on suction. Would have preferred to use threaded connections.
Otherwise pump is fine."
