I like this pump

"this pump meets and exceeds my expectations. I am using it to run 2 traveling water tractors, it would run more but I only have 2, I also use it to fill a 1500 gallon storeage tank. I am about 600 feet from the water source so all the water gets pumped through 600 feet of 1" plastic pipe to the tank and up to 900 to the watering tractors and 3-4 gardenhoses to each one. Even so it fills the tank in 2 hours or with the traveling sprinklers on it take 4 hours. I run it with a 550 series briggs engine and it plays with it."

"this pump worked like a charm. i have a pond that i use to irrigate my garden with and was also able to keep the lawn watered all summer long along with newly planted shrubs. thanks to this pump the garden flourished, the lawn was green and the shrubs, well are still alive. by the way the pond is atleast 50 feet down hill and still managed to run my sprinklers flawlessly. Thanks."

"i've worked with a larger range of pumps;including high pressure, high volume, and just about everything else. This pump is fairly priced and pumps a one inch stream of water one hundred feet at a low rpm.I'm using a 3.5 hp gas engine, which is more hp than needed, but since i already had the engine, fine! It will pump at idle and i can throttle it up for more volume. This pump is for volume only, too move water from one place to another. It is not designed for pressure, like running sprinklers.I think the pump is a little-hoss and is well designed."

Pump as advertised

"Although I have yet to be able to hook this pump up to a motor (the water is a bit frozen in Minnesota and Iowa yet), the pump is well constructed, spins freely and has ample bearing support, and is a non-primimg (after initial use) design. I plan to use it to draw water from a river and from a sandpoint well, to fill a 200 -300 gallon reservoir for a remote bunk house use. I will power it with a 5 hp Briggs, which is kind of like plowing your garden with a caterpillar, but hey, it will work. It would be nice if they made available a drive pulley, but with the varieties of shaft sizes, etc., that might be prohibitive. Good service, good product."
