"This product was easy to install. Since we live in the country and have a well there is sediment in our water. My washer filter would clog at least twice a load. Since the installation of this filter we haven't had a bit of problems with sediment or the washer. I find the water clearer also."

"Installing this filter has made a difference in the quality of water to my home. I’m on a well and was getting a lot of sediment floating around in our drinking water. The filter has taken care of that.
I did have to purchase additional silicone plumber’s grease to stop a small leak around the threads of the unit."

"Works well and was fairly simple to install. I really like the clear filter housing so you can see what it is filtering and when it needs to be changed. Happy for what I paid."

"I thought all filters of this type were the same. Now that I use this one the differences are apparent. OK, the filters themselves are the same, use the one you need for the filtration results you need. But the Flotec has a clear body so you know how dirty the actual filter is. also the clear housing has grooves on it making it easy to remove with a large pair of water pump pliers. the supplied wrench is strong enough most of the time and it's steel so no broken plastic wrenches. But the built in shut off is the icing on the cake no extra valves to buy. and a smaller number of joints that might leak. Will be getting another for the cabin next summer. A real nice unit that outshines the competition."
