"My crawl space flooded for the first time to the depth of one foot of water,( crawl space is only two feet deep ) during Hurricane Ike . With no sump pump in place and all stores sold out of sump pumps, I got online to Northern Tool and the Wayne submersible pump was at my door in a day and a half. Hooked up the pump and with in an hour and a half, the crawl space had a few areas of standing water, maybe 1/4" deep. This pump worked flawlessly and drained a 1,200 cubic ft. area in little over an hour. And Northern Tool, thank you, for such FAST DELIVERY!!"

"This is by far the best value for the money in submersible water pumps. I purchased this as an additional pump to help out my sump pump during times of flash flooding in our area. I quickly found out my dedicated sump pump was a completely inferior product as the Wayne pump handled the job on its own, and then some. At times the pump ran for two days and never overheated. I just purchased a Wayne sump pump to replace my existing pump based on the performance of this submersible pump. This pump is a true workhorse."

"This pump was the most similar pump sent as a replacement (as per Northern Tool's product protection warranty) to a SIMER brand pump that I was satisfied with performance-wise, but not for its longevity.
The WAYNE pump proved to be even less successful after only two months of intermitent use in a sump well for a 25-yr. old house. This WAYNE pump was prone to losing its suction if the water level dropped near the base of the pump housing. This pump was a measurably less effective than the equivalent hp SIMER pump under identical conditions. The thermal switch did work as specified in the product's description, although now it's turning off well before the water level surrounding the pump has gotten even close to the base of the pump. The original SIMER brand pump was purchased as a back-up to the main pedestle style sump pump installed in the sump well. I am planning to contact Northern Tool about any remaining warrantly protection for this pump."

"I bought this pump to empty a "septic holding tank". The tank is about 5 feet deep and I needed about 40' of hose to get the contents where I needed them.
It worked GREAT! Just like they advertize it even sucked up and transported some significant "solids". I could not be more pleased with its performance.
The cost is reasonable for the quality and performance you get."

"Excellent little workhorse. Using to pump out flooded barnlot. Handles bits of grit, grass, ice & other debris better than expected. Has had plenty of opportunities to overheat but hasn't."
