Great Power,August 11, 2008
By Janet53from Yorba Linda
"We bought this pump mainly for use if a brush fire threatens our home. We intend to pump our pool water onto the structure and surrounding tall trees. We have plenty of power to hit even our tallest trees(60'-80'). It started right up and works smoothly, without having to prime it. You do need to make sure there is water in it to start, but we had heard bad stories from people who had to prime their pumps. The only thing we are having to do is build a rolling platform, so that I can get it out to the pool if I am alone, It is pretty heavy and has one (unbalanced ) handle. But we are generally very happy with the price and functioning of this pump."

Pacer Water Pump,July 9, 2007
By Rupertfrom Rupert, ID
"Very dependable and easy to start. Is a good pump for occasional use. Could use a larger gas tank. I would recommend purchasing the roll over mounting base and cage for it."
