"These casters are definitely not like the ones you find on the big box store's wire carts. These are heavy duty with long fat stems that seat well within the vertical posts. They don't bend over time or flex. The hard rubber wheels roll effortlessly over concrete and hard packed dirt, but like any wheel on these carts they will have trouble in grass or carpet. Make sure you get the posts that work with these (from NT) as you can't really mix and match big box shelves with these wheels."

"I added these swivel whhel to my order for wire shelving to provide mobility of the rack assembly. The wheels and locking mechanism were "much" heavier than I had antcipated. They were exactly what I needed and should provide a lifetime of service. I would recommend these to anyone."
