Buyer Beware, does not fit all models listed

"Product description says that this seat will fit many John Deere Tractor models. I have a model 830 which was listed as a match but the seat does not fit. This seat will not fit on the 830 model or models that have the same style of seat the 830 has. Same company does offer the other style, but this is not it and they need to differiante this. I have bought dozens of items from Northern Tool and enjoyed the experience, but on this one they completely dropped the ball. Northern Tool's description needs to be altered to more accurately describe the item."

"Quality seat that did the job for an old John Deere that needed an upgrade. The seat is the same quality or better than the original and was half the cost. Remember to save your hardware because the seat does not come with bolts or brackets. Also the seat is tapped with multiple holes to accomadate different bolt patterns. I used mine on a 1020 John Deere. It needed a little modification, but well worth it."
