"What can I say about a sledge hammer? As long as it doesn't fly apart and take out my family members, it's at least 'good'. This hammer, though, has some additional merit:
- it is well balanced, making for an easy but powerful swing
- the fiberglass handle absorbs shock, so I don't feel the impact of the strike.

"Does exactly what a sledge hammer is supposed to do. 8 lbs is a good weight for me to use with good control and without fatigue, and the fiberglass handle is quite comfortable. Excellent price."
