"Stuck bolts are a thing of that past with this impact. I know it's rated at over 700 lb/ft and I've seen it extract bolts that I know had been rusted on for years. Where I used to have to prep everything in a liquid bolt remover overnight, I rarely have to do that now. I also haven't had to use my torch to heat up a bolt head and back out a stuck bolt in a while either. The off mode works well. The on mode is a bit quicker than I expect sometimes and I end up overtorqueing, but it's nothing I can't fix by backing it off (assuming I didn't break the bolt)."

"Great overall impact gun for medium duty use. The high torque specs are a bit misleading as I couldn't undo a crankshaft pulley bolt that was torqued at 275 ft-lbs. Maybe there were other factors at play but this gun is rated at much higher torque. A bit disappointing but still a great tool for medium duty use."

"The IR 2135TiMax is the best impact gun I've ever used other than the high dollar ones we use on the pit crew which are IR as well. Those are used for one thing and one thing only, changing tires fast. This one is a jack of all trades. It's got the power to break even the tightest nuts or bolts loose. It has 4 settings for tightening as well. Setting #3 is perfect for lug nuts. I still check it with the torque wrench but it's always been perfect for nearly 2 years now. It's light weight at 3 1/2 lbs. or so and I have to watch it when my dad comes over because he wants it now. He's been a chief mechanic and involved in Nascar for over 60 years so when he said this was one of the best he's ever seen that's the biggest thumbs up there is. This Impact Gun is well worth the investment and would make a great gift for the home mechanic as well. You just can't beat the reliability of Ingersoll Rand."

"My 2135 TI is extremely powerful and dependable. When I first used it, I was impressed with the feel, power and comfort. I had to be careful when tightening bolts due to the power. I haven't found a bolt it would not break loose or dismantle.
I've recommend this product to all my friends and they were impressed as well."

"I've used an old IR impact for years. My buddy got this new one and I've had the chance to use it and its awesome. Strong, reliable, and good handle. We take care of our tools (don't throw/slide them), but anything IR I have is top notch performance. No need to look at competitors."

"I'm a Steam/Gas turbine mechanic. We has a bunch of Snap on impacts at work. Tossed them all in the trash and bought I.R. Titanium impacts. Form 3/8 drive through 1 1/2" drive. Nothing compares. Just bought the 1/2" for myself at home. Wouldn't own anything else. They blow the doors off any other impact on the market."

"I'm a heavy duty diesel mechanic so just about every fastener I deal with requires some sort of effort to remove or install. This impact has had absolutely no problems with anything (reasonable) that I have put it up against. It will remove 1 1/4" lug nuts off a semi without a hitch, however I wouldn't use something of this size to torque them back on.
The size, feel and power of this gun are great! I've owned Snap-on, Mac and Aircat....this gun is just as good if not better than all of them!
Another thing I like about it is the noise level. After a long day of engines, impacts, grinders and my service manager making racket the last thing I want is to be up under a truck with an obnoxious gun next to my face!
I also own the Ingersoll angle die grinder and love it! I highly recommend any Ingersoll product!"

"I had some rusted bolts on an old bumper. My other impact was driving me nuts not the other way around. I put this baby on those bolts and it hummed a little and the nuts started turning. I love this gun."
