terrible,

"I am writing this review again because the first one was never published not sure why. these broke when I first moved the sled. the threads on the studs were to big and had to use washers or weld the to the plates. I must have gotten a bad set. some people think these are great I wish I could get my money back but I bought them last year. I ended up making my own for half the money and I use steel casters. very disapointed in the quality"

Snowmobile Dolly Sets,
July 14, 2009
By Neilium
"Absolute trash. I rolled my sled (09 MXZ 800, lightest sled made) no more than 10' when a castor snapped off. Wheeled it back in garage & another castor snapped off. In process of contacting Northern Tool for resolution."

Dolly,
February 6, 2009
By Landscaper123

"I bought the heavier dollies thinking they would be better. Now usually things from northern tool are great, but this one was terrible. I used it for my snow plow. Its an 8'6 boss plow that weighs nearly half of the load that these things are suppose to carry. Needless to say, one of the wheels snapped off, and the metal started to bend thats wrapped around near the wheel."

Snowmobile dolly,

"These work well and are priced right. The drawback is that the skis can slide off if the casters catch on something. Need to strap the skis to the dolly if moving very far over rougher surfaces."

These work great,

"I've had these for 8 months now with no issues. I didn't have any problems putting them together. It only took 15 minutes.
I haven't had any issues with the skiis slipping off so I have not had a need to strap them on the skiis for rolling it around the shop. I just made sure the dollies were ballanced under the strut.
I think they push easy and are a good way to shift things around in your shop.

"These worked better than I expected and are very strong.
I would agree that some straps to hold on to the ski's would be nice but over all I am very happy.

Good Quality, tough to tighten wheels,
April 14, 2008
By knucklesandwich
from Twig, MN
"The quality of the dollies are very good. Nice big wheels make it easy to maneuver even on a dirty garage floor. However, it is difficult to tighten the wheels to the frame. You can get a wrench on the nut, but there's no place to get a wrench on the wheel side. You can't tighten them down without putting a channellock or similar wrench on the other side. Also, you'll get plenty greasy when putting the wheels on."

"These dollies work well on smooth floors. I think they could be improved by adding some grip strips on them to keep the skis from sliding off them."

*SNOWMOBLIE DOLLY SET USED FOR SNOWPLOWS AND MORE*,
November 2, 2007
By Anonymous
from FULTON (Southern, JEEP, Border Town, of) WISCONSIN
"I purchased several of these Snowmobile, (3-Piece), Dolly Sets, awhile back. And was impressed with their Heavy-Duty-Construction, 1500-Pound-Capacity and 4, (3-Inch-Swivel-Caster), Wheels. They work Great for moving my 2 SnowPlows around on my cement floor garage and also, help with remounting the SnowPlows back on the SnowPlow Trucks. Have just recently purchased several more of these Snowmobile, (3-Piece), Dolly Sets and used 4 of them to move the, Antique Player Piano, around in our home. They've come in handy for moving other items as well.
You can't go wrong, purchasing these Snowmobile, (3-Piece), Dolly Sets, for the Great Price, that Northern Tool + Equipment, offers them for. And when they put them on sale, it's even Better. "Thanks"

"This is a very good product however it really needs a way for it to stay in place when you are pushing the snowmobile around. What i foudn that works good is to take a tie down strap and wrap it around the skies and strapped it down really tight and they stay in place."

Snow Plow Dolly,
October 8, 2007
By Jimmer
from upper Michigan
"Okay, they aren't for a snow plow, but that's what I got them for and they work really well. The plow weighs about 600 lb and I store it on the dollies on a smooth cement floor. I have had no problems moving it around."

Snowmobile Dolly's... plus!,
October 8, 2007
By Jaydee
from Southeast Michigan
"I have owned snowmobiles for many years and noticed these dolly's in an email ad from Northern Tool. Moving snowmobiles around, especially if in garage or storage area is always a task. These dollys no doubt make the task very simple and efficient!
Just one thing though, I have been disabled for several years and can no longer ride. I was in the market for a simple dolly for other uses. I looked at dimensions, saw the 3" swivel casters and the fact you get three for one low price...l I knew it was just what I needed.
I use one for the back side of my rolling generator, with my condition it makes life easy. The other two I use to haul various items, like a folding ramp I use often to load heavy items into truck.
The uses are endless these compact yet sturdy dolly's are good for and they roll over uneven surfaces smoothly.
Thank you Northern Tool!

"I like them well enough but it would be nice if they had side rails or a no slip rubber mats on them so that the skis on the sleds don't slide off when rolled over a crack in the cement."
