"I purchased six of these hooks for a 5x13 utility trailer that will be beaten to death doing yard work and hauling 2atv's to the trails. De-scaling the weld areas was easy, and using 7018 1/8 rod on 140 amps DC produced nice results with double pass. The mounting collars come with an appropriate bevel, so prep time is reduced. The hooks and mounts are quality and strong."

"These are a great D ring the weld will break way before these d rings will i have used these on trailers for tie downs and loader buckets for snow push attaching. They don't Break"

"Great for recovery points on a custom bumper or securing loads on a trailer, I have 2 on my front bumper that get used off road for recovery, and 4 on my car hauler trailer that I use to secure my vehicle when trailering it. A welder capable of welding 3/8 - 1/2" thick material is recommended for installation"

D ring tie downs,

"Purchased 6 of these and were impressed by the heavy duty design and ease of installation. I welded these onto backing plates and then atteched to the trailer frame. Good openings allow up to 7/16th chains to easily pass through. Welded very nicely with no issues"

"You can't build these this cheap. These are good heavy duty d-rings that you don't worry about pulling out when you tighten down on your binders.
