"Red eye bearing protectors are absolutely the best way to keep trailer bearings lubricated and protected. Made of soild aluminum and machined to fit the hub precisley. Easy to install using hand tools. Grease fittings pop out to expose "red eye" indicating that the hubs and bearings are properly lubricated. Grease zerks are easliy accessed and a
hand pump grease gun is all thats needed. They will NOT allow water in on boat trailers, and keep grease in with no sling out. The only downside is the fit is so tight, that removal to check the bearings requires patience and a big pair of channel lock pliers."

"I bought these to replace the bearing buddy's on my boat trailer. Have to say that I am extremely pleased with this product. After the stock bearing protectors on my trailer broke (broke at the grease zerk--plastic) I tried a couple different brands (Reese etc) and was very unhappy. After filling them with grease, they would seep grease, whcih in turn would get flung all over the wheels. These Red Eyes are much sturdier, and absolutely DO NOT leak grease.
Great product!! Buy these, you will be happy you did."

"These bearing protectors are great, they were easy to install and fit perfectly. They give you an indicator as to how much grease to put in and are built so they never sling grease. Great product!"

"Purchased this product to protect the bearings on a 38 year old trailer currently fitted with one protector. Installation was hard, but that's good as it ensures a good fit. Telling when its full can be difficult. I find I put pressure on the gun to keep it on the fitting and I end up keeping the shaft from sliding out. However, it's easy to tell when they run low.
Overall they are a good product. When purchased one of mine was broken, customer support was excellent and they got me a replacement set in 2 days."
