Storing my first Car...

"The previous comment left me a little skeptical which lead me to a little more research. After researching the product and others, I decided to make the purchase and it WAS a good idea for my vehicle. I purchased the 12" model, the jack spreads out to 21", which can make for a snug fit on a 20" rim/wheel. Lifting the hydraulic side of the jack lowered the front wheels enough to slide by the tire fairly easy. The rest was a piece of cake. A few weeks later I lowered the car, spread the jack as far I could finding out that the above method didn't work as nice as it did going on. But by turning the jack to one side the jack slide by the tire never leaving the ground. It took approximately 10 minutes to lower the car and have it rolling down the road. 20 - 30 minutes to get the car back up and stored in the corner of the garage."

"I purchased the 10" model which had a problem which Northern Tool replaced with the 12" model since the original had been discontinued. The new set works better but are a bit difficult to get on the tires of my 95 Tahoe. Once I had the vehicle lifted I was unable to move it around unassisted. These dollies seem like a good idea at first but I wouldn't waste my money on them."
