The good thing I like about this drill press is ease of operation. I do a lot of wood work. This press will work well with metal but it is a very good tool for a father to teach his son or in my case his daughter wood working skills. The price is good enough to allow you to have it your garage. I see this very press in the high end industrial shop also. That is what impresses me.
