Great Machine with some limitations

"This machine is a nice multi purpose machine for a small home shop. When I was looking at these the biggest complaint I heard was that it was not sturdy enough.... I disagree. Don't buy this if you are expecting it to work like heavy industrial machinery. It is plenty sturdy as long as you are working with sheet goods within the capabilities and thickness limitations of the machine. Yes it does need adjustments to make it work correctly, but once you figure it out and work with it for a while it operates pretty well. Brake and shear work well. The roller is a little tricky to get adjusted and it does need more attention as you work with it. Still an ovarll good value for what it can do with light materials."

What About Those Instructions

"This machine is my first experience with bending and shearing sheet metal, so I found the 2 pages of instructions more than limited. Even these refer to controls and adjustments that are not identified anywhere else in the document. After several hours of work, I began to figure out how to use it. Could have been a lot easier with a proper instruction manual."

Great tool

"I had to make some miner adjustments to the shear and the brake. I used my 3-1 for making windows for my deer blinds and it work great. Nice good bends and works great on shearing. I have yet to use the roller but can't wait."
