"it would be a very good lathe for the hobbiest if would have had power cross feed but it doesn't so I feel the price is to high for this Lathe"

"Having worked as a lathe operator for many years, I decided to purchase the Jet 9" x 20" lathe, last fall. Product quality is better than expected from an import machine. Able to manufacture many different parts, with minimal tool changes. Excellent product for the money."
