Great winch for the money

"I use this in my race car trailer and although it's a little large for this, I take comfort in knowing I could pull the whole trailer rig including the truck if I had to. I broke the clutch handle early on but this was easily replaced. Nice having lots of cable..."

"I used this winch to pull out my truck and a 18 foot trailer full of firewood out of the mud. With nearly 100 feet of cable and lots of power this winch is awesome. I now go anywhere with confidence I will get out."

"For the price it is teriffic. Mine is mounted on a trailer and I use it several times a day to pull cars or other heavy stuff - some on wheels some not - up on the trailer. I have also used it several time to move severly stuck vehicles. I had a couple of problems with the winch but Northern always replaced it under warranty with no problems. So if you need a good economical winch buy this one and get the warranty."

"I've had excellent performance from this winch. The line speed is great, easy to freespool, and easy setup. You should consider adding a roller fairlead for not so straight pulls and be careful with the plastic clutch handle."

"This wench has worked well on the south Texas Beach. Now we can drive to the 70mile marker with out an extra vehical. This wench will pull your four wheel drive truck out of any problem."

"VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND USE,THE CONTROL CABLE WORKS WELL, ONLY PROBLEM WAS POOR CONTACT ON THE PINSWHERE THE REMOTE CONECTS TO THE WINCH. JUST SPREAD THE PINS A LITTLE WITH A POCKET SCREWDRIVER AND IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!"

"I needed an inexpensive winch for my 32 ft goosneck trailer. I have used this winch to load and unload several trucks and trailers. I like its simplicity, the freespooling is very easy and the winch works smoothly. I did not get the optional remote control."
