How did I ever get along without it?

" This is one of those tools, that you once you use it for awhile, you wonder how I ever got along without it.
The lift itself is very well made. I have had to replace one cable due to wear. Actually loaned it to a friend who tried to use it as a jack and greatly exceeded the specs, which caused the cable to break.
There are a lot of jobs that usually take two people that you do with one and this lift.
You will find a ton of uses for this lift. Here are a few things I have used mine for:
1. Loading kayaks on a rack 7 feet high usually a two man job.
2. putting compressors, big tool boxes and other back wrenching heavy stuff in my pickup.
3. Putting away items on shelves 7 to 8 feet in height.
4. installing air conditioners.
5. a third hand for holding equipment at an appropriate height while I repair it.
6. Hauling building segments.
7. Moving large pipes.
8. a quick jack to move my trailer or boat.
This lift has more than paid for itself in less trips to the chiropractor due to lifting more than I should. "

A well made product

" I built some 8 foot high storage shelves in the garage, and getting heavy items off and on the upper shelves without killing myself was a challenge. This lift, though expensive, is the perfect way to solve this problem. The lift is made in the USA by a subsidiary of a company that builds giant cranes, so they know what they're doing. The lift works very well. The freight company totally demolished the cardboard box in which it was shipped, but the lift is so ruggedly built it was completely undamaged. The ability to turn the forks upside down for higher reach is a useful feature. "
