works great when mounting tires

"This is a great tool. A pair of pliers in reverse, actually. My favorite use for this tool(in absence of a wheel dolly) is when mounting tires and lifting the tire up to the lug nuts. If in dirt, I can dig under tire and insert after making sure lug holes will be mostly aligned with studs. If on cement, I can roll tire over tool and lift up to stud level. have done this with up to 20 in truck tires."

"Purchased this product to use in raising a concrete slab that had sunk below ground level. Worked very well with hand hydrualic pump that allowed slab to be raised 1/4 inch of less each time. By slowly raising the slab with the ram under it every 2 feet or so, I was able to get it back to level"

"I bought the Torin Big Red Ram Spreader to move my boat engine.
I had to shift the engine right and left to align the propeller shaft. I was struggling.
I already had an hydraulic hand pump but i didn't have a little spreader. I needed a little spreader to get into the small space available in the boat.
l looked up spreaders on Northern Tool. I was a little skeptical about the Big Red Ram Spreader because of the low price but I ordered it anyway. The spreader came the next day. The casting looked very nice and the finish was very good. I finished the alignment job in less than 1 hour including changing the fitting to match my pump. I am very satisfied with the quality which is excellent for the price."
