Good home shop press,March 23, 2009

"This press is suitable for working on autos or small tractors. It provides enough strength to separate corroded parts when used with a penetrating solvent and works well to replace bearings and seals."

"bought this press for bike work, specifically to press the stem out of a harley lower triple tree, worked great, press rod is the exact size to fit in the triple tree hole. install instructions suck, but just look at the assembled pic and you will figure it out. I tightened all the bolts after its was all together and it sets flush with the garage floor. will have many uses on a bike and 12 ton was more than enough to press out the stem... overall I was impressed for the money..."

"Press was easy to assemble, and works very well for small tasks. My only complaint is that the ram floats around too much for precise bearing, or gear onto shaft assemby."

shop press,April 21, 2008

"I bought this press to replace U-joints on farm and construction equipment. I works great. I am sure it has other uses which I will find. It is small enough to move around easily; however, I will probably install casters on the base to make it very portable within my shop. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a small press for U-joint work or similar applications."

"used this press for doing some wheel bearings on my car. Press costs less than the shop wanted just to use theirs. Works well, have also used it to bend some brakets and other uses. I would definatly recomend this press for a home mechanic."

Nice little press,January 21, 2008
By JayCeefrom Romulus, MI
"This is a nice little press that packs a lot of punch. Easy to assemble/disassemble. I had to re-drill out the holes that the adjustable pins run through, but this wasn't a big deal. It's a good value for a home/garage mechanic. Has enough power for most automotive press needs. Comes with a set of press plates. Press punches would have been nice."

"Setup and function of this press are slow. Design is so-so, but quality is great. For a homeowner that needs a press this size from time to time, this is an excellent buy."
