Good backup

" I bought this to run the blowers on the fireplaces during our periodic blackouts. I got about 6 hrs on the '80s pellet stove even though the battery still said 30%. The unit was still on, it just wasn't pushing enough power at that point. Takes about 2x duration to charge than time in use. Kicked on seamlessly when I unplugged from the wall, so I do have confidence in it as a UBPS. Overall, this product has met expectations, but can only do so much. "

" Normally, I do not write reviews, however I think this product has exceptional value. This unit has remained powered up since I received it. It has powered my security, phone and internet through several power outages of short duration. It has not damaged any electronics. It stopped need for short duration use of my standby generator. I purchased one for my son just recently. It has been installed in his home and has already been needed! Go NPOWER! "

" I got this to use for two reasons.
One, if the power goes out I can still power my tv and dish.
Have not needed it for that yet.
Two, i like to go camping but, I have a bipap machine and my better half has a cpap.
This unit will power them both for two nights and have 20% left.

Portable trailer power

" I bought this to use in my motorcycle trailer in which I camp when at the race track. So far, it has powered a shop light, my iPod boombox, and a drip coffee maker with no issues. When running off battery, the thing is totally silent. When charging from an outlet, the internal fan runs, but it isn't too loud. The wheels are basically useless. Plan on putting it in one place and leaving it there. For the price, you can't assemble a comparable kit, much less in a tidy package. And I couldn't find a competing product anywhere at the same price. Good stuff, I'd buy it again. "
