"I have priced this 600-LB winch at other stores and found this to be the best price that includes the strap. The other stores had the winch priced higher and did not include the strap...Very good product. I would highly recommend it to anyone."

functional, but poor mounting design

"I used 2 of these to tighten a volleyball net. They work fantastic for that application. The downfall comes in the mounting. When using the recommended bolt size, the mounting holes place the bolt so that it is difficult to get a socket on the head. It helps to completely dismantle the crank, mount the plate, and then re-assemble once mounted. The ratchet mechanism seems a little weak for holding heavy objects, but then again, this is only the 600lb model, and perhaps the heavier duty ones are beefed up. For what I used it for, they work great aside from some mounting frustration."
