"I broke it out of its case, went right out to the grill and used it. It says I have a little under 1/2 tank. I'll follow up after a few grilling sessions."

"Awesome product. Tried for years to guess when to refill my tank so I don't run out while camping or grilling. In my area you pay for the full tank no matter how much (or little) is left in it. No more running out of gas trying to squeeze out the last little bit, and no more refilling 1/4 full tanks!"

Great propane gauge

"I highly recommend this gauge. It is the most accurate way to determine how much propane is in your 20# tank. Gauges based on pressure are dependent upon the temperature of the liquid propane. Those that use the temperature of the outside of the tank also vary by the temperature of the air and can be fooled by the natural cooling that occurs when a liquid turns into a gas.
This gauge is also a great way to see if you are being cheated when someone fills your tank. Many companies that sell propane have cut back on the amount that they put into a tank.
Do remember that this gauge works only on the common 20# "BBQ grill" size tanks. It works on the total weight of the tank and the propane."

"The grill gauge is so easy to use and is very, very reliable! I was looking for a gauge that could measure the "weight" of the liquid propane and provide an immediate read-out. This is the one! Heads and tails over the other junk I've used (great price too!)."
