"Man, this buffer is great. The high RPM and good power will have your aluminum, brass, chrome or stainless shimmering in no time. But beware. If you've haven't previously used one of these high speed buffers, be very careful at first. This things can grab your goodies out of your hands, bounce it around the room and beat you with it. So use leather gloves, and goggles. Please, take your time till you get the hang of it. And it wouldn't hurt to have a good backstop!"

nice little tool,

"I took the buffing wheels off mine and put coarse and fine wire wheels on it for removing the rust that seems to be forever encroaching on my tools. I get lots of condensation on my tools here in NH from the huge temperature swings we get, which leaves tools looking like someone sprayed water on them, which then turns to rust. So, I got this buffer to use as a dedicated rust remover. I've had it about a year now, and I unfortunately have to use it often. It works just fine, even in a sub-zero garage. No issues. Plenty of torque. Very good price. Can't beat it."

"This buffer works as advertised. It has sufficient power and speed to easily polish aluminum, steel and stainless. The unit is quiet and the buffing wheels that come with it are good. One improvement could be to include a 4 inch wheel on one end for those harder to polish pieces."

"I have a weird hobby -- restoring old vacuum cleaners, especially old cast aluminum uprights. This buffer is The Perfect Tool for doing this, and I would imagine a lot of other jobs! The motor is powerful enough that you can lean into the work a bit when you need to, and for me the speed is just right. Yet it is quiet too!
Priced like this, don't waste your time rigging up your bench grinder to be a buffer -- just add this machine to your bench and make your life a lot easier. You've probably spent more on a tank of gas.
In less than an hour, I took a cast-aluminum housing from totally grungy to a mirror finish. No exaggeration! Like Richardo said above, this machine will have you thinking about going into the polishing business!"

"A truly remarkable tool. The speed is perfect for all polishing that I have done. The wheels are far enough away from the motor that there is plenty of room to polish fairly large items. This buffer sits on rubber feet and is heavy enough that it does not slide during use. I have been polishing copper pots and the shine is unbelievable. I might go onto the polishing business!"

"Checked prices with several sources and found this to be by far the best price for a bench polisher. I use it in my knife and tool sharpening business.

"This is a great buffer for restoring old car trim. Buy a pair of shaft extensions and a stand and it can swing 8" buffing wheels. Even if you stay with 6" wheels the extensions will get the work away from the body of the buffer and you can install dual or multiple wheels to speed your work."

"this buffer is mounted to a pedestal and used for buffing chrome and stainless steel parts of all sizes. the buffer has more than enough power and the buffing wheels are holding up to the abuse very well. this buffer is also much more quiet than my last one. great product"
