Nice Impact gun for the money,
November 2, 2009
By Marklom from Beverly, MA
"Very impressed. I only use the gun a couple times a day, but it works great. The battery life is very good. Good quality charger also. I had a different brand before and the battery had to be charged every day. This battery last for at least a week before I need to change it. Kit comes with 2 batteries! Snap-on wants $450 for their gun..."

Northern tool 24 volt 1/2 in. drive impact wrench,

"I have used this 24 volt impact on the farm for six months and find no fault in it. I am impressed with the power it has breaking loose rusted nuts and bolts. I like using it on the combine where the air impact blows up bust to get in your eyes. I was so impressed with the half in. drive that I haue since bought the 24 volt three eights drive. I now have 4 batterys and two chargers, never have a dead battery."

great tool for the price.,
August 16, 2009
"this is a great tool. on the site it stated 210 ft lb but the store sign states 280. i have to say that it seems closer to 280. it absolutly blows away my buddys $400 snap on 3/8 that is rated at 230. it pulls most lugs off with ease (though some have been rusty and required a 1/2 air gun) and has powerd off more than ten axle nuts with ease. i do warn you to check the screws that hold on the impact mechanism housing from time to time as the do tend to loosen with use. a little drop of locktite should fix that though. i love this thing and for the cost you will not regret it. battery has lasted me for about 2 days on average. just remember to take them off of the charger when the are done as to prolong the life and you should love this thing.
it sees daily heavy use in my trade as a auto tech and im telling you it's awsome and the price cant be beat."

Great Tool for Around the Farm,
July 21, 2009
By MudMad from Mississippi
"I like the feel and the balance of this impact wrench. I have used it for changing tires on trailers, my golf cart and my Jeep, as well as working on my food plot equipment at the deer camp. It's got plenty of power to change a set of four tires, although its getting a little slow by the fourth one. WIth the spare battery, you just keep on going. It has broken loose frozen bolts on my disk and planter with little effort. Lots better than having to take a generator and a compressor into the field for minor repairs."

Don't Judge the Book by the Cover!,
July 21, 2009
By SodBuster from North Salem, New York
"After dozens of repair events in remote area's that required bolts and nuts to be removed and installed in a timely fashion. I began to yearn for a cordless impact. However I could never get the courage to spend two to three hundred dollars on a name brand product. Then while flipping thru one of my hundreds of Northern Tool catalogs, I spotted the Northern Industrial cordless impact wrench-24Volt 1/2 inch. The price was very affordable, but I was doubting it's quality and durability. I decided to take a chance and purchase. When I recieved it, I was pleasantly surprised that it came in it's own carrying case and along with the charger a spare battery! The batteries charge up rather quickly and hold a charge for many applications. It's great for changing belts on an implement, when you have to remove a dozen bolts to take a panel off,or to repalce tines on a cultivator that has so many bolt and locknut combinations, it's so handy to just hold the nut and zip the bolt tight. I have decided for the price , I can have more than one, and keep in my other trucks or machines. So the moral of my story is Don't judge the book by the cover."

Northern 24 volt impact wrench,
July 20, 2009
By Randy57 from Carlisle, PA
"I bought my Northern 24 volt impact wrench to do some of the lighter work on my Freightliner. I have found the impact to be more than able to remove rusted exhaust bolts and have used the impact for much more than expected. I find the 24 volt to be more convienent than dragging out the air hose and the air impact. I'm very satisfied with the 24 volt and would recommend it to anyone."
