"I have now returned my second cordless impact due to battery related issues. The first time the charger went bad, the second time a battery went bad after 2 months. This is a fantastic piece of equipment for the price but buy the extended warranty. It is worth it. I use it at the racetrack to work on a sportscar and in my shop on the weekends. NT has been great about returns and easy to work with, just get those batteries a little better and this will be a 4+ star item."

"Needless to say I was not expecting much. This was my first Northern Tool branded power tool. To my suprise, it worked great. Removed old, rusty lug nuts with no problem. On another job, it had enough power to shear the head off of an old 1/2" bolt-I could not believe it."

"This 210FTLB cordless impact wrench has been very usefull in my job at an amusment park in San Diego. It has been very useful where I can't get air hoses to. I have been able to remove and install nuts and bolts from different part on the different types of ride we have where I work more qucikly which makes my job more quick and easy. I am very glad I bought this tool for my tool box. It has turned out to be a great deal and investment. I did look at other brands but they couldn't compare with the price to power ratio. "Frankly I was skeptical but this impact was on sale at such a low price we had to try it. We have two race cars and are pulling wheels off and on all day long. We have been shocked by battery life. Normaly we only use one battery and have not even had to change to the reserve during a average day. Plus we hand torque our lug nuts to 90 Ftlbs. After a track heat cycle thay can become difficult to remove. This wrench has always broken free. Don't know about longevity yet but we are initially very impressed."

"We use this item in the precast concrete industry, so its gets used alot and it takes a beating, the first one we bought lasted 3 months then the anvil bent, we got a free replacement and on first week of use the allen screws that hold the head in came out we replaced with new allen screws and so far this time its working good. It cost less that half the other one we bought from NAPA, however no problems with the one from NAPA at all."

"air impact performance from a battery wrench! A friend saw me changing race tires with a 4 way and suggested I try his Northern 24 volt impact.......The performance of this tool was unbeliveable, I ordered mine was again plesantly surprised at the rapid [1hr] charge time and the extra included battery, plus 4 impact sockets. "Dismounting and mounting track tires (or any tires), sometimes multiple times a day, is very tiresome. This year I got Northern Tool's 24V impact wrench to help. After reading the reviews, and with such an attractive price, I decided I could hardly go wrong. And a good choice it was! It makes quick work of this task. The battery seems to go on forever. I can't wear it down in a day at the track. I've never even used the 2nd battery! The only thing I would change is to have a bit more torque as I have to start to loosen my 108ft-lb nuts with a breaker bar first. Just as well, it keeps the impact wrench from scaring up the nuts. I would definitely recommend this economical and useful tool to any driveway mechanic."

"I purchased this to remove lug nuts from our cars, which are typically torqued to 90 ft lbs. Like the previous fellow with the Honda, it doesn't have enough power to do this. I don't need a tool to spin the lugs off after I've loosened them with a breaker bar - I already have a 1/2" drill with a socket adpater that performs that job perfectly well. Simply put: this was a waste of money and I was very disappointed... I'd return it if I could... and buy one rated for at least 300 ft lbs."

"If you are thinking of running air tools for weekend mechanics in the garage consider this tool first. It has the portablility, space savings, and power to do the job and without a compressor to listen to. I have used it to take off lug nuts on my truck with no problems, it does'nt. even work hard with 200+ ft-lbs of torque. The sockets provided are also very adequate. An air compressor with that much PSI and CFM is going to run 2-3 times what this unit costs and is going to take up a corner in your garage. It is a little on the heavy side but that's to be expected."
