"I had previously purchased a 12 v oil transfer pump from Northern, and thought that I could adapt ordinary garden hoses to use in conjunction with it. I was wrong as they leaked both oil and air. I then pruchased a pair of these hoses and transferred approximately 250 gallons of fuel oil in about a half hour; very close to the advertised pumping capacity of the pump . These hoses made all the differences in the world !"
