"I have been using this model pressure washer for close to a year now and am very happy with it. I have used it to wash my car, truck, boat, house, driveway, kids wooden playground set, plus customers houses, porches & driveways. There is enough pressure to do the jobs quickly and still ensure that they are clean. I really enjoy the changeable nozzles so I am getting the right pattern and pressure for the job I am working on.

"A Great pressure washer for the money. Incredibly durable pump and Honda motor combination. I purchase this to wash my deck, I also found the sandblaster attachment useful at cleaning rusty machinery prior to painting. It is got plenty of power for all the jobs that I have encountered."

"I researched a lot of pressure washers before deciding on this one. Great Honda commercial grade motor that starts right up coupled to CAT pump. Wand seems to be very sturdy as well unlike some other manufactures. This unit it built right, frame is strong and unit fits well in tight spaces in garage. Also not too heavy to load into back of pickup truck. I purchased about 5 months ago and waited to review until I had some run time on it. I have many rental properties and have cleaned siding on 5 homes with this now as well as used to clean 3 driveways, 3 decks and washed ATV equipment about 8 times. I used to remove mold/stains on vinyl siding/gutters/decks, black mold on concrete that came very clean and dirt/mud on ATV's and worked very will with pressure + flow this unit produces. Never had one issue with this unit and I purchased with mind set that I will keep for lifetime and I don't see a reason it won't hold up to that. The manufacturing company I work for also uses Northstar pressure washers and have had great success over last 15 years. I don't think you can go wrong with this unit, just follow the directions prior to startup. Product arrived in good condition as did the other items ordered. Have fun and be safe!"

"Only minutes after opening the box I had this pressure washer working for me. The first job was to clean a 75 foot long drive to ready for sealing. I had never accomplished this task quicker or as good as with this pressure washer. I really like the capability of changing the spray pattern and the spray force with only selecting one of the quick-change nozzles. I especially appreciate having the complete maintenance instructions and detailed illustrated parts breakdown data sheets that are provided with the unit."

"I had my eye on this particular unit for the last four years. The price was a little high at the time but as time passed the price became affordable. I have used this power washer at least 5 times now and was never disappointed with It It yet. The Honda GX 160 engine runs very well and the Cat Pump works as good as they say It does. The first time I used It I cleaned almost everything I own from my house to my car motorcycle, driveway, and even my lawnmower cleaned them with ease and got the job done right the first time. My neighbor bought a cheap electric power washer and after he saw mine he regrets buying It. I would highly recommend this power washer to anyone."

"This is a great pressure washer.It starts with one pull and has great power to clean just about anything.I really enjoy this piece of equipment with one thing that was annoying.The chemical injector worked for 2-3 times and then stopped working.I tried everything to fix it and then was told to buy an add on piece that quick connects onto the high pressure line and this has an adjustiblechemical flow and somehow puts the chemical farther away from the pump and it works great.You shouldn't have to do this,but nobody could tell me why it wouldn't work.The new add on fixed the problem and it works great."

"This is the perfect pressure washer for almost any application. It started on the second pull the first time and the first pull every time since. The adjustable pressure is great. It is manuverable. It is not noisy. It runs forever on a tank of gas. It uses no oil. It is simple to hookup and use. It has more than enough power to clean whatever needs cleaning. "After a great deal of online research, and several trips to various stores, including both "box" stores. this was my choice. The reason - a great price for the Honda engine/CAT pump combo plus a 2 year warranty.
Puting it together was a snap. Follow the instruction manuals (there is one for the engine, and one for the pressure washer) and don't forget to fill the Honda crankcase with 10W-30, and check the CAT pump oil level which should be shipped full, it uses 30W ND. Also, remove the shipping plug on the oil fill nut on the water pump. I suspect that users have failed to do these things resulting in subsequent engine and/or pump failures.
The Honda starts on the first pull, but, follow the engine start procedure in the owners manual exactly. The unit runs well with lots of power. The chassis is solid and doesn't "walk" while the unit is in use. This is a complete package, with all required nozzles (5) and 50' of hose vice the normal 25'. The hose is a little time consuming to rewind neatly, so you might consider a hose reel.
Whether you are a beginner, or a professional, this is a great pressure washer."

"I have been using this washer frequently for over 13 years. CAT Pumps and Honda engines are the absolute best set up. This unit does not damage finishes, but still cuts grease and soot. Change oil, change filter, air tires, USE CLEAN GAS, and my kids can have it in another few years. I have heard that more recent Honda 160 engines have been less reliable. Perhaps they have made too many from the old dies. Mine has been starts-second-pull forever. I doubt I will ever need to replace this washer."

"This unit was recommended to me by my companies facilities staff. I have had this unit for about a month now - used it three or four times. A powerful unit for sure with the various nozzles it will tackle any job. Used it for cleaning my house, some mildew and a lot of dirt on the shingles on light yellow house. Engine started after three pulls but engine revved unevenly back and forth and I had to adjust throttle. I want to thank the Northern customer service - Bonnie and others. First time out spray gun slid off my garage roof and snapped right after the gun handle. After few discussions and wands, we got the right wand. Check the exploded diagrams as I swear what I saw and what arrived was different wand connectors or no connector on one that the diagram represented.
Also, buy a hose reel. The 50 foot hose is a bear to work with if not coiled on the reel. Good luck.

"So far I've only used this pressure washer for one large multi-hour cleaning job. The engine is super smooth and quiet, starts immediately on the first pull every time. Even the very first time I started the engine it kicked over immediately on the first pull. The pump is very powerful and responsive. This unit had no problems stripping away over ten years worth of thick moss, algea, mold, discoloration on a large railroad tie wall. It was no easy task but this washer did the job beautifully. The wall now looks like new. Based on the overall observed performance of this unit so far, I know it will handle any job I throw at it, at least around the house / yard. The entire package (base, engine, pump, hose, gun, etc) is of high quality, it's an impressive product. I specifically wish to commend Northern Tool / NorthStar Tools for their excellent customer service. My pressure washer had arrived to me with some shipping damage. Northern hooked me up with the replacement parts I needed immediately and took care of the damage claim, all I had to do was perform a simple parts swap. In the past with other mail order tool companies, shipping damage resulted in lots of time spent dealing with the courier and waiting weeks for replacement parts and then waiting even longer to be reimbursed, etc. With Northern, it was a completely hassle-free experience, I was up and running almost immediately, took no more than one phone call. Thanks Northern!"
