Worth every penny!

" I have owned this model of shear for a few years, and have had the pleasure of using it under many circumstances. It effortlessly cuts through thin sheetmetal for body panels (20-22ga), and I have had it power through 14ga sheet metal, without signs of slowing down. This IS pricey, when comparing it to hand shears, or a reciprocating saw, but if you want a quality cut in almost ANY gauge of sheetmetal, without making a mess of the rest of the panel, or your work piece, this is worth every penny! It has saved my hands from fatigue, on larger cutting jobs, and is faster than a "throatless" hand operated shear, without losing precision. I'm not a "brand loyal" tool owner, so I'm not biased in singing the praises of this tool, or rationalizing it's price. I simply weighed the potential labor costs, of using slower tools, or fixing jagged edges of inferior tools, and found this to pay for itself in little time. If you do sheetmetal fabrication of any discipline (Auto body repair, HVAC ducting, home fabricator, serious hobbyist, metal artist, etc.), and are sick of hammering/ filing/ grinding after using hand shears, or dealing with the "teeth" left from many nibblers, you won't want this, you'll NEED this. I'm so glad I have this!! "
