"This is a quality made product and is well suited for it's intended purpose. What you don't know is that the electrical cord cannot be left plugged into power while you are reeling up the wire. The cord must be unplugged before winding or unwinding. I would rather have a reel that can be left pugged in while you are winding or unwinding the cord. We have installed a slip ring on the reel and modified it so it can be left pugged in while the cord is wound up or pulled out. It works great! You can put at least 200 ft of 12/3 wire on the reel."
