FREE SHIPPING — Thermadyne Inverter Stick/TIG Welder 185 AC/DC, Model# ArcMaster 185 ACDC

The ArcMaster 185 AC/DC is a multivoltage, full-digital control, AC/DC, Stick/Lift TIG/HF TIG inverter power supply. You get exceptional performance from the embedded microprocessor with digital controls, delivering perfectly smooth, stable arc characteristics for E6010 Cellulose and low hydrogen electrodes. Standards Compliant Integrated VRD: Voltage Reduction Device reduces the OCV when the power supply is not in use. This all but eliminates the risk of electric shock to the operator from the secondary welding circuit. Volts: 27, 17.4, Amps: 160, 185, Duty Cycle: 40, 30 percent Smart Logic® eliminates damage if the machine is accidentally installed to the wrong voltage Thermal Overload Protection: Indicator alerts the operator if duty cycle is exceeded or airflow is blocked Locking Plug Output Terminals: For easy polarity reversal and cable change Remote Receptacle Fitted: Allows remote devices to be connected for controlling amperage and output contactor Job Save & Load: Allows operator to store up to 5 exact optimized welding parameters then digitally recall them with perfect repeatability Smart Warning Diagnostics: Alerts operator to power supply abnormalities AC Frequency gives operator control over weld bead shape AC Balance allows you to fine tune the AC welding cycle Rapid pulse output provides precision control over pulse on/off, pulse frequency, peak % time, background and peak amperage, initial and final slope times, and amperage Intelligent heat sensing fan operates as needed to cool components & reduce airborne contaminants pulled through the power source Rated Output (STICK): 160 Amp at 27V, 40% Duty Cycle Rated Output (TI): 185 Amp at 17.4V, 30% Duty Cycle

"Having no experience TIG welding I did not know what to expect when I bought this welder to learn on. I do light fabrication and decorative metal pieces and wanted to be able to do finer welds than I was getting with a MIG welder on thin material and aluminum. I've been using it for over a year now and it is my preferred machine. All welding parameters are fully adjustable and can be saved and recalled for similar applications."

"This welder has many of the features of a large high end machine in a compact efficient package. It can run any stick electrode I want very smoothly. The tig features are great, I can weld very thin aluminum sheet up to heavy aluminum bar stock. Great control over cleaning and penetration on high frequency trig. Many options with total control over pre, during and post gas flow. To get the same features from another manufacturer the machine is either much more expensive or three times the size without the efficient inverter technology. The duty cycle is plenty for job shop fabrication."
