Inspected and documented welding jig

,

" This welding jig is in a class by itself. It is a first class piece of work. The cast iron parts are thick, heavy, and stable, and all parts mounting surfaces are fully machined. The machining itself is first rate with no chatter or roughness in evidence. The documentation even includes an inspection report which shows the machining specifications and the compliance to that spec of all three axes. (Mine is well within spec.)
All clamp feet are fully articulated to accommodate work pieces of three different sizes and configurations. The working threads are all copper plated to resist weld spatter. The third axis clamp arm is spring biased to swing out of the way to allow the jig to be used for two axis welding.
I can't imagine what I would do to make this product more useful. It was obviously designed by an experienced welder. "

Great corner clamp!

" I use this clamp for tacking together square tubing and angle iron. The 'threaded-rod-slide' push button speeds up the clamping time. You will have to put a 1" spacer on the other end of your work piece to make it level, or just buy two angle clamps, one for each end. The clamp is durable and well made. "
