"Arrived undamaged. I couldn't get it started, but then realized the "choke" lever was in the wrong postion. (my fault). Moved the choke lever and it started on the first pull.
However, there was NO AC output from the plug. I shut it down, and started looking behing the casing, and saw a wire that was not seated in the white connector that goes to the "reset" switch. I removed the top cover, (had to disconnect the fuel hose too), Re-inserted the "pin" into the bottom of the white connector, and all is well. (I don't think the pin was EVER inserted into the connector to begin with, but oh well, a small Quality Control issue).
So, if you have even a little mechanical ability, then this would be well worth the money.
So far I have run a 10 amp circular saw, which is right at the maximum wattage for this unit. (Remember... Volts X Amps = Watts, so 110 volts at 10 amps is 1,100 watts). The saw would drag the motor down at first (surge watts), but would stabilize immediately for good power.
I recommend this unit, but do the math on whatever you plan to plug into it."
