" I use this with a Brunton Solaris 52 and a "luggable" AGM 12v battery. Does a great job with charging and has all to status info you need to know what is going in with the charging process. I really like the built-in desulfator and have used other BatteryMINDer products. This is highly recommended! "

Portible Power

" I use this on a pair of Marine deep-cycle batteries that power lights and an inverter in my enclosed trailer I use for merchanting at re-enactment events. It's great as the trailer is all over the place and plugging in to charge was leaving me with half dead batteries. Now if I need to charge at night, I use a laptop power cord with the ends cut off, but most of the time the panels keep it charged just fine. "

Solar or Not

" This is the way to go if you have a solar panel now or might in the future. It can handle more batteries and is more powerful than the BM+. If you don't have a solar panel yet, just pick yourself up a 18-20v DC output laptop power supply in the 2+ amps, snip the end off, check the poarity, and attach it where the panel power would go. I had a grounded 3 pole Dell power supply (PS6 family) that would shut down, so get a simple 2 pole one. The power supply draw about 7 watts to maintain a pair of 6v deep cycle batteries. "
