Well, as far as shop vacs go, this one is pretty nice. It doesn't lack in power at all, and beats my other shop vacs into the ground. It runs extremely well with both the 1.5" and the 2" hoses, and the included attachments are pretty useful. I love how it's made in America, which is primarily why I chose shop-vac over a few other brands I was really considering because of compactness/add ons, etc. The stainless steel tank looks good, and it's not top-heavy at all, so when you need to pull it along, the casters move well. I haven't used it for wet pickup yet, as I'm in a wood-shop, but I do have to say, to keep it running well, you have to cut up an old t-shirt or cloth, and tie it around the filter, or it gets clogged with wood dust pretty fast. It has the average shop-vac hole on the front, and like I mentioned earlier, it takes all of the universal 2" and 1.5" hoses. I haven't used the bag, just the bin. and it takes ALOT too. I was worried I might need the 16 Gallon one, but this does me more than plenty good. It's a fair price, and it runs well. The only problem I foresee is the switch might go bad. it feels pretty cheap, I thought it was one of those rubber covered sealed ones, but it's the plastic kind.
This 12 gallon shop-vac is used buy our engineering department. As a hospital support tool and we are very demanding on our equipment. This vac gets into the rite spots and pulls out all the mess we make. Drains easily and goes back for more dirt. .
