"We bought an Onan generator last year, and have only had to use it a couple of times, but it has always been easy to start, and has also been easy to service. We live out in the country, and usually have power outages several times every year. It was nice to be able to start the generator, and be able to use lights and the microwave, etc. I don't know why we didn't buy one years ago. I was always concerned about an extended outage, what with 2 freezers and the well pump, etc. Now we can just start the generator, and plug them in. So far the Onan has been very reliable.
My husband, who is a small engine mechanic, picked it especially, as he says that it is easy to work on."
