Best smoker ever,

"This is the best gift I have gotten for my husband. I gave it to him for Christmas and he has smoked everything you can smoke with it- beer butt chicken, meatloaf, squash, turkey- you name it, he's smoked it and every single thing has tasted awesome. It is a real value for the money and does everything those overpriced smokers can do. I searched the internet for it and this company has the best price on it. I highly recommend it. It will tease your appetite and tempt your pallet. A great gift for someone you don't know what to give...."

"What a great little grill. I have really enjoyed it. It is small enough you can carry it with out, when camping, or need to move it to another location. We use it almost daily, as we love to grill, and it works so well. I recommend this to any one. It is very reasonally priced."

Low priced smoker grill,

"This smoker is lightweight, easy to use, and was a good bargain. I would not call this the sturdiest smoker grill in the world, but it works quite nicely for the price. I smoked a 12 pound turkey in it and it came out juicy and perfect! As a newbie and first time smoker, the results of all food I have made have been very good. If you want to try your hand at smoking, this grill would be a great starting point."

The versatile grill,

"The All-In-One Griller and Smoker seems to live up to most of it's promise. I have been very happy with the smoker features of the Griller - easy conversion for smoking, smoke easily generated, water pan keeps foods moist. The grilling part of the Griller is OK, but dedicated grills I have used do a better job of grilling - the design does not provide the traditional grill searing of meats in the same way other gas grills do. My only other complaint at this point is the flame control knob is difficult to adjust and duplicate settings from one use to the next. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants one appliance to both grill and smoke foods. There may be better multifunction grill/smokers to be had, but you will probably spend at least twice the price or more to get there."

no good!,

"I ordered this smoker, then rec. my shipping information. So knowing when it would be here we planned a weekend gathering for friends and relatives. However, when it arrived we startd the assembly but there is a pan inside for water, well the pan has a hole in it so its pretty much usless for our gathering that we planned. So now I have meat I purchased to smoke and all kinds of people coming for the weekend and am having to figure out what to do with the meat, guess I will be reverting back to using my old reliable gas grill, which of course is not a Brinkmann"

Brinkmann All-In-One Griller and Smoker,
October 17, 2007

"I have owned at least 5 of these over the last 5 years. I consider the all-in-one a "disposable" grill/smoker since they do burn out/rust out quickly. However since I use the Brinkmann on average of 3 times a week year round I have no problem buying a new one every 10-12 months. I use the smoker as more of a grill with smoke than an actual smoker. The grilling quality and taste beats my $$$$ built in BBQ hands down. Steaks ( and pretty much most foods) come out the best I have cooked on any grill.
My biggest complaint is they recently changed the regulator hose and now the grill does not get as hot as it used to. If they had not changed the regulator I would give this grill 5 stars.
Tip: if you are buying a All-in-one to replace your existing one....save your old regulator hose!"

Brinkman All-In-One Kudos,
October 16, 2007

"This purchase is my second All-in-One smoker. I have left the first one up at the family ranch, as it is starting to show it's age. I use my smoker probably 1 to 2 times a week, on average, over the course of a year. Much more in summer, but winter doesn't mean an end to the smoking in my house! Just need to run more gas due to the colder temps. I have stuck with using the gas burner, and have not tried the charcoal setup, as I don't want to deal with maintaining the temp in that environment. It is SO much easier with gas. That is really the only reason that I put it at four stars instead of five. The process is pretty simple, just remember to REALLY soak your wood, and use CHUNKS, not CHIPS. Hit the gas hard to bring the temp up quick, then back off when it hits the middle of the dial (lower if you have the time). From that point on, it is really a matter of just checking the temp guage every so often to maintain the temp you want to cook. I usually use a setting around the "I" in IDEAL. It really is as close to set-it-and-forget-it as you can get! You don't want to open the cooker until you are pretty sure it is done. Start out with the guidelines in the cooking guide that comes with it. Buy a book on smoking to give you another perspective, but after about your fourth or fifth cook, you will have the time estimate down pretty well. From that point on, light it up, load it up, pop a cold one or three, and glance at the temp from time to time. Keeps the missus happy and tastes GREAT!"

Smokin good Brinkman,

"Has all the available features at the lowest cost found. The beef roast cooked only slightly longer than in the oven, but was the juicest roast I ever had. The four 5LB. chickens will need foil wrapped on the wings and legs to prevent over cooking as happened. I prefer the cooking range gauge verses exact temperature gauges. An exact temperature gauge would tend to cause the chef to dwell on maintianing exact temperatures verses just a range which is all that is needed. This was my first smoking experince and I was very impressed. The unit was easy to assemble and seems well constructed verses others I have seen."

Brinkmann All-In-One Griller and Smoker,
July 9, 2007
By mike2

"I wish I HAD NOT bought this grill !!! I had one just like it that after 10 years the flame collar rusted away. It was a great grill / smoker. The new one is NOT good. They cheapened up the metal, went thinner on the metal. It will not fit together properly. When they went thinner they did not reconfigure the diameter of the dome lid and smoker body. The lid now goes clear down inside the body and sets on the grate. Thus there are big gaps around the dome lid and it creates a draft. There is constant flaming and also it will not smoke properly. Brinkman sent me a new lid and smoker body. They were the same sizes as the others. They just do not fit properly, resulting in bad grilling and smoking."

"I received the Brinkmann All-In-One Griller and Smoker for a gift.
I have used it as a smoker mostly (Salmon, Trout, Ribs). Each time they turned out delicious. Used as a grill, it heats up really quick.
One thing that could be improved upon is the temp gauge. It does not give you actual temperature. It just gives you Warm, Ideal and Hot.
