Great Fry Maker,
November 8, 2009
By BobLeChat

"The only reason I did not give this a five star is because you have to cut large potatoes in half.
Here are all the good reasons.
It always sticks to the counter well and never comes loose.
You can make show string or regular size fries
great for making home fries
Real Easy to use as long as you press quckly
Saves you $$$ over store bought fries
Great tasting fries - much better than fast food chains
We use this to cut up zuchinis and other vegetables and saute them.
This one is well worth every penny and then some.

"I love this little gadget! The only thing I don't like about it is if you have a large potato, you have to cut it in half. It's easy to clean too."

Frency Fry Cutter,

"We had been looking for a french fry cutter of this type and the price at Northern Tool was far better than anyone else. Most retailers do not carry this item at all any more. This is a very handy item in the kitchen and can be used for more than just cutting potatoes into french fries. I have found that prices and service at Northern Tool can't be beat."

A treasure,

"Although I certainly wanted to buy the upgraded model, I have been pleasantly suprised by this little wonder. If your feeding a tentload, it's not the unit for you and I would suggest the upgrade. But for our small family, it's perfect. The kids participate and they honestly get excited when we make french fries."

"The french fry cutter makes great french fries but it is very difficult to push the handle to cut the potato. It requires a man's strength to push it. If you could make it a little more female friendly, it would be great."

"It Is really well bulit but the only downside to this is you can't use just any potatoes for this it can only be so big around and so long or it will not work unless you cut the potato before you try to use it."

French Fry Cutter,
January 14, 2008
By Blackfoot16D
from Long County, Ga
"I purchased this for my wife, and she absolutly loves it, it saves her time in cutting up potatoes to make home made deep fried french fries. The suction cups work quite well in holding it firm on the counter, and it even cuts larger potatoes with relative ease. Because of size constraints, some potatoes if the are excessivly large must be cut smaller. Other wise, a very worthy product for the price. My wife and I recommend it very highly."

french fry cutter,

By lovncarenana

"When I purchased my french fry cutter a couple of years ago, I had pretty low expectations. I just needed something to help me get dinner on the table a little bit quicker and with less pain. (corporal tunnel) This cutter comes with two interchangeable blades and an almost unbreakable plastic frame. A lever locks the suction cup to the counter so that it will stay immobile while in use. I lock it on the counter next to the sink and sit a bowl benneath it. Then all I need to do is place my veggie of choice inside and gently push the handle down. Out shoots wonderfully chopped up chunks of my veggies. (great for mashed potatoes) I so enjoyed using it that I began to use it for all kinds of stuff. I experimented on many veggies to see which ones worked and which ones didn't. (tomatoes are not recommended) all potatoes (white, red and sweet), cucumbers, onions, peppers, apples etc. work great. I just leave my cutter on the counter these days after washing because it will get used for something almost everyday.
I enjoy using it so much that I purchased one for each of my four children for Christmas. They feel the same as I do! It is a great tool and I don't have to bribe anyone to help cut up the potatoes for dinner any more.
Thank you for a great product under $20.00.

"I bought my husband this french fry cutter last Christmas and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. He had all of his buddies over for a cook-out and fixed the fries with it. They all loved them and wanted to know where we got it, so we told them. I order three more this year and gave them to his buddies as Christmas gifts!!"

"Works great but the opening could be bigger. You can only cut small potatoes or cut them in sections first. I feel this is a good buy for the price. I liked the suction cup bottom. It is fast and handy as long as you have smooth counter tops."

"i really liked the product, but the steel grids did not last!
the little grid broke in about a week and the large grid broke less than a month!
get good grids and it would be a good product, but now i have a product with no grids so it is no good!
