Northern Industrial Tools Deluxe French Fry Cutter,

"Most french fry cutters break after several weeks or months - this one will last a long, long time. It is totally sturdy and would even work for a small commercial/industrial type kitchen. Fries aren't the healthiest food in the world -but, boy do they taste great and home-made fries are SO much better than fast-food or restaurant ones. The cutter makes really consistent cuts and stay sharp for a long time. For the money, this is a fantastic product an I highly recommend it."

"I bought this item about six months ago, and so far it has held up to the punishment that I put it through. It comes in handy when preparing for a large group or just a small meal for yourself. The only thing that I found with the cutter is that I had to mount it on a cutting board for better support. In all this is a great product for the price."

"I use to cut French Fries with a Kitchen Knife, but it was time consuming cutting 7 or more nice size potatoes. Now with the Deluxe French Fry Cutter, I can cut 7 Potatoes in the same time it took to slice 1 Potatoe with a knife. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Every Potatoe is sliced the same size, so they cook even too.. Great Product for a small price...."

"Over the years I have tried several different fry cutters that just did not hold up under repeated use. It is the bomb for making lots of fries when you have a big hungry crowd to feed. We have a ham radio group here that love to eat and we have cook outs often. This cutter can keep two cookers busy with time to spare. Any thing from sweet potato fries to irish taters it does a great job and is built solid to get the job done when others I tried failed. If you have not tried sweet potato fries get this cutter and give them a try. Best buy for cooking have found in a long time.
Keep up the good products Northern Tool! Thanks!"

"The French Fry Cutter is well made and heavy, and works best if mounted to a table top, but while doing so increases stability, it also makes it difficult to get a bowl under the end to catch the newly cut fries. (A vertical mount or on the end of a table would remedy this). While the product is fine for white potatoes, the blades are NOT strong enough for my favorite, sweet potatoe fries. Another possible problem encountered was the alighnment of the blades with the "pushers". The blades cut many of the edges of the plastic push-piece. I like me fry cutter and use it frequently."

"This product is great for those who love homeade french fries. It's industrial strength and size justify the price. It will stand up to the rigors of potato after potato and still look and cut like brand new."
