"I purchased two of these filter units.
One I have on the discharge side of a portable tank unit that uses a Tuthill 12 volt pump system. I use a water block filter on this one.
The second I have on the suction side of a very large elaborate fuel polishing system. This is the first component that the fuel goes through. I have a stainless 80 mesh screen type re-usable filter which is available for these filter housings.
The Goldenrod products have been around a long time and parts are common and available.
You can get waterblock filters and other types of filters for your various application.
The units also act as a water seperator so you can drain the water at the bottom of the bowl.
These filter units are very well made and you can use them in a variety of applications.

"My first impression with this filter unit is how fast it will flow diesel fuel. I was afraid adding a filter to my fuel drum/pump assembly may dramatically reduce fuel flow, but that is not the case. Don't forget to buy the wrench."
