" Sturdy perfectly sized for my stove....and VERY difficult to find in the local hardware superstores in the area. They seem to sell out of this model before it hits their shelves. Love it and recommend it. "

Nice addition to my wood stove

,
February 1, 2013
By Overnighter
from Idaho
" I was looking get some air under a wood fire. I have a box style wood stove lined with bricks. There was no way for the air to get to the back of the stove to burn the coals. By removing the bricks on the bottom and replace it with this Grate, it solved that problem. The fire burns hotter and more even. Solid grate, no issues. Shipping was fast. "

great grate

" Replaced an old cast iron grate in my wood fired boiler. Works great. Wood burns more efficiently, very little ash. Butt jointed two grates back-to-back. Strong enough to hold a firebox full of large diameter wood. Still going strong. Highly recommended. "

" Large and heavy. Just what I needed in a grate for a woodstove. It's tall enough to easily slide a fireplace shovel under for easy ash removal. "

Steal grate

,

By cowstuff

" I love this steal grate. It alowes me to start a fire very quickly by allowing air under the wood. It also alowes me to burn 4 or5 fires befor cleaning out the ashes. Now all the wood is compleatly burned instead of leaving half burned logs. "
