Excellent DIY Humidifier

"The Hamilton Whole House Furnace Humidifier is a very well designed product at good price. It comes with almost everything you need to install it. The return flexable piping is short so you may need to supplement that with some additional piping. I had additional piping from my existing installation. It is designed to be installed with out having to wire into your furnace. Although it can be wired in to the furnace for possabily even higher efficiencey. The hardest part of the installation is the cutting of the sheet metal. It has a nice compact design which makes it easy to find a location to mount it. That was my primary reason for choosing it as my locations were limited. It works about the same as my old General 1040. I have a 1200 square foot house on the first level with most of the basement finished. I am not sure it would be the best choice for a house much larger then this. While you can tell from the product it was designed for cost effectivness the overall design is so good it over comes that."
