Heats Large Area Well,

"I have my shop in a 1150 sqare foot 3-car garage with insulation. I bought this heater because of the rating and the ability to heat this large of space. It heats very well, but not as fast as some of the other reports. If I turn it up to 9, I can get the temp from 55 to 70 in about an hour. That's considerably better than running space heaters and waiting hours sucking up electricity."

10,000 watt commecial heater,

"I recently bought model #OASU10000T heater made by Ouellet for my garage.
I was looking to replace my old method of heating... temporary heat with a 20 lb. cylinder. This heater works great! I am heating a 28' x 40' three car garage, and when it was 40 degrees the other morning it took 10 minutes to get to t-shirt temperature.
It is easy to hook up. I used #8 wire with 50 amp breaker, and it works better than I had suspected. No need to cut exhaust hole in garage wall either.
I would recommend this heater to anyone who is still doing the "temp" heating thing. This will be much more cost efficient in the end."

Quellet electric heater,

"I found this heater able to quickly heat a 25 X45 foot basement shop. It does require # 8 cable and a 50 amp breaker. The wiring diagraram was pretty straight forward. This heater is not whisper quiet. You can hear the fan running when the unit is on. If your forced to use electric heat, this unit will do the job for a large size room."

"I have been trying to find a heat system for my shop for quite some time. My building is wood and I store a lot of flammables, so anything open flame really was not an option. I wanted something that would warm up quickly without having to keep constant heat. I tried several different electric heaters without much success. I finally decided to take the plunge and try this one and boy am I ever glad I did! I can turn the thermostat up to about three and within ten minutes I will be working in a tee shirt and be warm as toast. The only difference I notice on my electric bill is when I will leave it on for an extended period (several days) when it's very cold and I have a project on the table drying and needs to be kept warm. Don't be afraid of this one. I've been using mine for over a year now and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a quality product."

"I am using this to heat a 24 X 30 metal garage. It is doing a very good job heating it. Since the garage is metal, I will be insulating so the heater won't have to work so hard to do it's job.

"Earlier this winter I installed one Ouellet 10,000 Watt heater in my 2,800 sq ft shop and it has maintained the desired temperature very well with no help from other heaters. My shop is extremely well insulated so the heater does not have to run excessively."
