200k BTU of power.,

"Before I purchased this unit I foolishly talked myself into a propane forced air heater # 174337 what a piece of garbage. After returning that disapointment and buying this item I know made the right choice. Heating a 900 sq ft garage in the Northeast with only an iinsulated ceiling is no problem for a heater of this magnitude. The only drawback would be a lack of a thermostat so after 10-15 min of heating on medium (high setting turns unit cherry red) it's time to turn it back down, but since there is a pilot light feature it's no hassle to turn the "jet-like engine roar," back up and go for another quarter hour. For the money and effectiveness not too mention the lack of needed electicity this heater is a HOT choice!"

"I bought this for my hubby and his son and son-in-law to work in the shed. It heats great. Actually if you dont turn it down, it will run you out. Very good value for the money. And its not to big, as in getting in the way. Before i ordered it, i read the other reviews and decided on this one. It also arrived fast."

Excellent heater,

"I purchased this product to heat my garage during the New England winters to allow me to work on cars etc. The overall size of the garage is 30X36 feet with about 12 foot high ceilings. Within 20 minutes the temperature went up about 30 degrees from about 28 to 58 degrees faranheit. I had to turn the unit to low to continue working comfortably. I would definitely recommend this heater."

A Hot Deal,

"No doubt about it this little flame thrower sure puts out the heat. It's easy to start and folds down to a nice compact size for transport. I've used it while ice fishing (no not in an ice house) and to heat my shop. It starts so easy there's no need to leave it running when not in use (while ice fishing). Just light and go. The ability to control the throttle helps to conserve fuel too."

Super heater...,

By Jaws

"Wow. I needed a good heater to heat my workshop (two car garage) as well as our basement, which is not heated along with the rest of the house. The basement is 1300 square feet. This heater is incredible. It heats the areas very well and very quickly. We may have to buy another one...one for the basement while I use this one for the garage! Its hard to share."

"Very good product, puts out lots of heat. I have a big uninsulated shop and it will heat it comfortably fairly quick. only drawback is that when open full throttle it is pretty noisy, it sounds like a jet engine."

Hot Heater!,
March 16, 2009
By EricinIndy

"Purchased this heater to heat my pole barn. The heater works well, lights easy, and is constructed well. I used it with a 40lbs propane tank and it did turn off because of icing. I think it is stated to use 80lb tank which I would recommend.
I am happy with this purchase and would recommend the heater."

Great heater,
March 16, 2009
By RIcktrr

"I bought this to heat a 2000 sq ft garage. I don't often need heat, but occasionally during the winter it gets cold enough that I do. I have a smaller Mr. Heater that wasn't getting the job done. I fired this one up and in fifteen minutes the place was comfortable. It's loud, and it uses a lot of propane, but it doesn't take long to heat things up."

Very Impressed,

By GarageJohn

"I have owned and operated this heater for two years now and I have been very impressed with the ease of use and the amount of heat the unit emits. In a three car garage setting it only takes about thirty minutes before it is warm enough where I have to turn down the unit. I have also used the unit on a covered outdoor porch and it can comfortably heat everyone seated in the vicinity."

Mighty Heat,
August 18, 2008
By JAC57

"I have had my Mr Heater for a few years now and have had no problems with it at all.
It's easy to use, set up, move around and will heat up my work shop durning the winter very quickly, so that I can do all my honey do lists.
There is plenty of adjustment in the heat, so that you can keep the heat in your room at a comfortable range while you work.
I a'm very happy with the unit and I would buy it again and recommend it for everybody that needs heat for work or play and even if you loose power durning a long Ice storm like we have had here in Michigan many times.

Propane Heater,

from Brownwood, Texas
"Over a year ago, I bought this heater to put inside of my garage. My wife would not let me smoke in the house and it was too cold to go outside in the winter. This little heater really heats up the garage on cold days. Now I don't mind smoking out side or in the garage and on cold days I can hide in the garage an not be bothered with a honey do list that my wife wants me to do."

Propane Heater,
April 17, 2008
By JCollins
from Franklin, MA
"This heater is unbelievable. Its compact design allows you to store it during the summer months without being in the way. The pilot control is another great feature that I didn't have on my other heater. The over all construction is ten times better than heaters from a few years ago. I also couldn't believe the strength as well. I actually only have to keep it at a low setting to heat my entire garage. The entire garage heats up in only minutes, hard to believe. I highly recommend this product for the price especially. Couldn't find this price anywhere.

Quality Heater,

"This unit is better than I had expected, It was easy to assemble. It is easy to operate and with my needs a 5 gal. propane cylinder works fine and makes the unit more portable. I am heating three spaces in a work shop. In the 2 that are insulated 5 minutes on High will take the room from 35 to 75 degrees. in the big room, un-insulated running on "1/2 Throttle", The heat is welcome on those cold days. I have found the unit to be efficient and economical and I expect to have years of service."
