It's painful to drive without it.

" The only reason I only give this 4 stars is that it develops leaks and can only be patched so many times before you just need to break down and buy another one.
To properly inflate this, one blows it up just enough that when you sit on it, part of your rump just barely touches the seat under the cushion. They say you "sit in it, not on it." Try it with different inflation levels and you will quickly find out when properly inflated, this seat cushion can't be beat.
I've tried the gel, memory foam, and spring seat cushion, none compare to the comfort of this product. This is made by the same people that make medical seating products,(Roho) which is probably why the price is so high. I'm on my 6th seat, as I've used them for at least 6 years. Even though they get leaks and can only be repaired so much, I have to replace it about every year.
The comfort of this seat does not compare to any other, it's so far above in comfort, I'd have to put it in a class of it's own. Even though it does develop leaks, the comfort it provides me as a driver that drives several hours a day, I keep replacing them when I've patched it about as much as possible. No more leg problems or rear end problems.
These are so comfortable that I've even stopped a vacation trip and air freighted one to me so I could continue my trip in comfort. They make that much of a difference.
It does come with a leak kit, but you need to find a large sink or a bath tub to repair it. Usually the leaks develop at the base of the air cells. Just take it out of the cloth cover, then submerge in the tub, put your finger on the air leak to make sure the bubbles stop, then leave you finger over the leak, and bring out of the water. Dry around your finger that is still on the leak, then draw a circle around it with chalk. Try to get the area where the patch is going to go flat, then clean it with the cleaning pads included with your patch kit that comes with the seat cushion, then take one of the patches and stick it over the leak, being careful to make sure it's flush with the surrounding seat material. Then your good to go for a while. "
