"My shop is very noisy however now that I wear the Work Tunes AM/FM radio I can listen to my favorite radio programs and protect my ears from damage. The Work Tunes has great reception and is comfortable on the head."

"Love them, use them mowing the yard,a big one. It's fill's like it cuts my mowing time down a lot. Got them to take to the race.Tryed other things just did not work.Now I plug my scanner into them,can hear the race on the radio,and hear the race action from the pit crews. Love them, hope to get a 2nd pair soon, so my wife and son can use them."

"This is a great product. I like to listen to the radio while mowing the yard, and I had to turn up my Walkman so high to be heard over the sound of the mower, that I was blasting my eardrums. This radio blocks out all of the mower noise so I can listen to my sports talk or ball games without a volume so high as to endanger my hearing. I highly recommend it!"

"What I really like:
Digital tuning so no station drift on FM.
Nice easy to read digital tuning display.
A real ON-OFF-VOLUME knob for easy on-head adjustment and it helps find the adjacent station select button.
great cushion fit that really cuts out outside noise.

What could be better:
I'm about 40 miles out from our AM and FM stations, so I get almost nothing on AM and just a few FM stations here.
This is not a problem for me since my favorite FM station comes in clear."

"This is one of those "one of the best purchases I have made"!
The reception is great and the noise reduction is great. I use them while I mow my lawn and it sure seems to cut my mowing in half because of the ability to listen to music. Changing radio stations/channels is very easy with just a push of a button and they are adjustable and comfortable.
You won't be disappointed!!"

"I work in a woodshop where most of the tools I use are very loud. Due to the type of work I do, it's also a very dirty environment with enormous amounts of dust. This headset works great and hasn't failed me since I bought it. I really like the fact that I can plug in my MP3 player to it and listen to podcasts all day. The sound quality through the built in speakers is better than average and the hearing protection aspect of this set is also very good."

"Love it, use it when I mow, weed eat, cut wood with chain saw, and when I am on the tractor brush hogging. Cuts the loud noise down to a minumum plus listen to music, ears are not ringing anymore after the chores."

"Bought the set and now wife has taken them over. Great for hearing protection, but AM reception not very good, FM better but we do live on fringe area and in a bottom. It beats listening to nothing."

Loud lawn mower?,

"I had another headset that I wore all of the time while mowing the lawn, but they are no longer made. After they died, I bought these. I am OK with these, but the raised antenna has gotten in the way more than once. I am also not convinced that this headset is as efficient at lessening outside noise as the other set that I owned. For the money, these are OK and I would moderately recommend them."

Great noise blocker,

"These headphones work great! I live out in the country where not many radio stations come in. But these headphones picked up more stations and were clear. They also block a lot more noise than regular construction type headphones. I use mine for mowing the grass. I would highly recommend this product to anyone."

"I bought this somewhat expensive am/fm radio so that I could listen to my favorite am station while working out of doors, and this radio does not pick up the stations that I listen to on a cheap table radio that I use indoors. Therefore, the whole purpose of the radio for me is not met."

"Great quality; great reception; With you e-mail offer - great price; I used them while sawing firewood and while using the wood splitter. They provide excellent hearing protection and with very little volume the radio comes in at a comfortable level. Hard to be outside tinkering without them. Digital tuning is definitely the way to go - it stays with the strongest signal no matter your movement. Mine work great indoors and out (and I am way out in the country)."

"These headphones are great.They are easily adjustable,and comfortable for hours of use.The sound is clear,with a large knob for volume control.The station presets are very convenient I wear them when operating heavy equipment.They do a fantastic job of reducing outside noise,while being able to enjoy music.The ability to plug in ipods make them more vesatile.I've already recommended them to my friends looking for hearing protection."

Glad To See They Finally Made These w/DigtalTuner,

"After having several of the Regular work tunes ear protectors, I sure was glad to see them finally make one with a digital tuner. Now you can easily tell what station your tuned to and also, they hold onto that station ALOT better than the old ones do,
I have not had the trouble that some of the guys are reporting about station fade, maybe because I'm peaty close to the stations that I listen to, (within 30 miles).
I'm using these when running my heavy equipment and so far, I'm VERY pleased with them. No more hunting for my station when I take them off and lay them down, seems like your always bumping the tuning dial and loosing your station, then with the old ones, spending half an hour trying to find your station again, but not with this pair. I think they are worth the extra money for that feature alone."
