Great muffs for an audio engineer in a noisy venue

,

"I work in a very loud concert venue and wanted to protect my hearing. I was getting tired of the ones you ball up and put in your ears. I decided to give these a try. The size of the muffs is nice and they block out almost as much noise as the kind you put inside of your ears.
The only thing i don't like about them is they hug your head rather tight and give me headaches occasionally."

They work Great

"Didn't cost too much but work great.I use them when mowing with a lawn tractor that has 24 Hp, three blades and makes plenty of noise. No matter how long I am mowing, when I get off and remove the headset my hearing is normal. I have tennitis and loud noise makes it worse, almost unbearable. The earmuff works great. Should have bought two pair."

Stowaway earmuffs

,

"These earmuffs are more comfortable and less obtrusive than others I have used. The stowaway design is nice for storing in a toolbox. I have 1 pair at work, 1 pair in the garage for when I mow lawn or blow snow, and 1 pair in my workshop. They do a nice job of cutting the noise down to a more comfortable level."

"I bought my 10 year old niece this item for Christmas to wear while she shoot's her new .22 caliber rifle. She said they were very comfortable and they keep her from flinching when firing her rifle, thus making better shot group's."

AO Safety Stow A Way Earmuff

,

"I have several branks of Earmuffs. They all have advantages and disadvantages to them. I like to travel with my earmuffs for example on airplanes or to noisy enterrainment places like movies, shows etc. The problem has been they get caught on something and the earmuff pops off! These though not the highest DB reduction would be better to use when traveling along with foam in the ear type muffs for added protection. For the price and being able to be transported easier these are a great option! And they dont need an MP3 or Batteries to work."

Help for Autism!
July 6, 2011
"Our son has autism and has great difficulty with loud noises, as many kids on the Spectrum do. We bought these after purchasing the ones you find at local home improvement centers. After breaking them twice, we decided to go with the wire version. Our son is now able to enjoy many public activities like movies, concerts and festivals. They have been a Godsend!"
