"We purchased this to use on our patio during cooler fall and spring evenings. It is well-made from castings and heavy sheet metal and the paint quality is good. The cord has a good length. It works pretty good, but the heating effect diminishes quickly with distance. Be sure to adjust the directional angle before putting it up on a wall, as it is near impossible to adjust when it is in place. I plan to mount this on a stand instead of on the wall so we can move it around and get it closer."

"We are using the solira all season quartz patio heaters for our horse foaling barn. We placed them above the stall aproxamately 10 ft. high in a stall 12 ft. x 24 ft. It heats half of the stall which works well so if the foal gets cold it can move towards the heat. If it gets to warm, it can move away from the heat. They work well because the heat is concentrated on the area you choose."

"These heaters are really great. I purchased them and mounted them myself at my mountain house .
They put out a ton of heat but the really neat thing is that being infrared they heat objects NOT the air and they really do . I haven't been able to really test them because it is summer .
The only thing I am a bit worried about is that you can get a sun burn from sitting under them for too long ."
