"We recently ordered this product and found to to exceed it's expectations. It runs longer than stated on a 20 gallon pig. It also heats better than expected. We usually have to keep on as low as possible or it actually get's too warm. I would definately recommend this item to anyone that is looking for an in-exspensive heater that provides a lot of heat , and cost very little to use. Very easy to use, install and best of all it is ventless."

Nice low-cost heater,

"I bought this for my single-car garage, after a friend bought a larger model for his 4-car garage.
It seems to work well, and puts out a good amount of heat for a moderately-insulated single-car garage. The metal portion of the heater does get very hot. Definitely way too hot to touch. Unlike the other reviewer, i think most of the heat is upward, very little heat blows forward.
One thing i didn't like, is it's not a "portable" heater. It's wall-mounted. I assumed it came with feet, but it does not, it only comes with a wall-mounting bracket. In addition, the gas hose enters through the bottom of the unit, therefore it won't sit flat on the floor without legs anyway.
Still, this is a nice unit for the price. I would definitely reccomend it."

Great portable heat source!,
November 22, 2006
By Michiganhunter
from Hartland, MI
"This heater was used in my hunting camp this year, and I found it far exceeded my expectations and hopes! It proved more than sufficient to heat a 10x10x5x8 foot canvas tent in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan with below 35 degree day and 20 degree nights. We ran it on the lowest setting all the time, approximately 12 hours a day and used about 3/4 of a 20lb propane tank in 5 days! That is efficient to say the least...
I found the heat vent area actually released the heat more out than up, which was an unexpected and welcome feature. This allowed me to actually use the area above the unit to dry gloves and boots without worry of drying out leather or burning microfiber or fleece or damaging gortex linings with too high a heat.
The only con I have to relate about this unit, was that the oxygen depletion sensor was a little too sensitive and did shut off the unit even when only the pilot was burning. The fact this was used in a tent, with more than sufficeint ventilation, means this is unit has been set to err on the side of safety rather than consistant performance.
I would, will and have recommended this item to 4 friends in the last 2 weeks. I also have a Mr Heater Big Buddy and find this does a better job, uses less fuel, is significantly more quiet and more pleasant to look at in any setting. This would make a great addition to any garage, den or (as I use it) in a tent. Don't even think of not buying one of these or any of this brand of heater, of course matched to your area that needs clean, quiet and cost effective heat."
