A really good deal for a solid product

" I bought this box blade because it was 100 lbs heavier and $100 cheaper than its closest competitor, glad I did!
Arrived in a steel cage! My roads look like a pro did them and I am busily making more. It is attached to a Kubota BX26 - used the three point connect bits from my shredder to connect. I am very satisfied, did I say my roads look great?

Excellent box blade

" Very good box blade. Heavy, sturdy and well made. Delivered in a steel frame on a wood pallet that had to be disassembled before the assembly of the blade could begin. Assembly instructions were minimal but adequate. You will need a 1/2 inch drive or several large wrenches for assembly. Too heavy for one person to move, I had to attach a chain and drag it off the trailer with the tractor. (When off the tractor I rest the blade on two mover's dollies so I can push it around the maintenance shed) Works well, but requires some practice. "

Heavy Duty - Poor Assembly Instructions

,

" I picked this box blade up after receiving free shipping to the store and had the opportunity to assemble it last night. I must say first of all that the construction looks fantastic, this box blade is heavy duty and it has dual removable/replaceable cutting bars. They say it is not a reversible blade, but I can not see why a person could not take a grinder and make a second cutting edge and reverse it anyways.
My only complaint is that the instructions that came with this unit were substandard. The pictures were heavily faded from years of making copies of copies. The online version was not much better. My recommendation would be to either ship fully assembled or create a new drawing that actually makes sense.
Finally, the company needs to make sure the correct bolts, pins, and other parts are shipped with the unit. As it turns out I received extra M16-110 bolts, washers, and nuts. I did not however receive the Top Link pin and hairpin. A trip to the local tractor store is in order. Also, it seems the top link pin holes are much larger than those of a CAT1 hitch perhaps drilled to a CAT2 size. This will be problematic if I can not locate the correct bushings.
Packaging was interesting, it was in a steel angle iron frame setting on a wooden pallet. Took longer to find a balance point to lift it out of the steel frame than it did to assemble the unit. Honestly, no reason they couldn't just set it on the pallet, use a couple of heavy zip ties or wire to keep from shifting and if you are worried about scuffing, put some shrink wrap over it. As it was it still arrived with several scratches.
I hope to take it out this weekend and start using it. I have no doubt that it will cut into the material nicely. "

Very nice

" We just laid 2000 ft of corrugated pipe and i needed this to backfill and level the landscape. It is great. It made my life so much easier. It seems well-built and solid. It has 4 teeth, not 5 as shown in the picture.
I ran over each area back and forth twice with the teeth and then twice or even three times without them and it left the land smooth and even.

" Used extensively to grade a 280 foot driveway. I was looking for a quality product for an affordable price since I only need it about 4 times a year. Better constructed then I anticipated and the steel blades are heavy duty and will last. "
